ReflectionName of Assignment: Presenting A Source
Subject: Humanities Facilitator/Teacher: Ms. Terry Description of Work/Assignment: In Humanities we did a group project where we listened to a podcast or watched a documentary then made a slideshow about the documentary or podcast. The documentary that my group watched was about Ancient Rome. Which 21st Century Skill do you feel this assignment addresses, and why? I used interpersonal skills for this assignment because I had to work with a group. We divided up the work and worked together so that way it would be done on time. What are you most proud of from this assignment, and why? I'm proud of this assignment because I think I did well on part of it and I think I did well working with my group. How did you develop and/or improve upon your 21st Century Skill with this assignment? I improved on my interpersonal skills by working effectively with my group members to make a good slideshow and getting it done on time. What was most difficult about completing this task? There wasn't anything particularly difficult about this assignment. At first I was going to do by myself because I was on the mainland but since I was going all of the classes I ended working with a group. So I would say the most difficult part was going from working alone to working with a group. How could you improve this work? If you could start over, what would you do different? I don't think I would change anything if I could start over but if I had to do something differently I would've added a few more bullet points to my slide. How does this relate to what you have learned in the past? This relates to what I have learned in the past because I have had done similar assignments to this one. This project did kind of remind me of citing a source, which I learned in seventh grade, but a bit more complex. How can you apply this to future learning? I can apply this to future learn by analyzing my sources and making sure the sources are reliable. |
