ReflectionName of Assignment: Easter Island Mystery
Subject: Humanities Facilitator/Teacher: Ms. Terry Description of Work/Assignment: In Humanities class we read an article about the statues on Easter Island. It is mystery because no one knows who made the statues. After reading the article we then answered questions about it Which 21st Century Skill do you feel this assignment addresses, and why? A 21st century skill I used was information skills because we had to find the correct information in the article for each question. What are you most proud of from this assignment, and why? I am proud of this assignment because I think that I did a good job at reading the article, analyzing the information, and using the information to write my responses to the questions. How did you develop and/or improve upon your 21st Century Skill with this assignment? I developed my information skills by reading the article and going through information to answer the question to the best of my ability. What was most difficult about completing this task? The most difficult part of this assignment was coming up with answers for the questions. The questions weren't questions where you could just look through the article and find the answer really easily. You had to read the article and think about the information in the article and form a response. Some questions were easier than others. How could you improve this work? If you could start over, what would you do different? If I could do this assignment over again I wouldn't do anything differently. How does this relate to what you have learned in the past? In the past we have done similar assignments. For example, we have read articles and did TQE (takeaways, questions, epiphanies) charts. How can you apply this to future learning? I can apply this to future learning by really analyzing the information and responding with well thought-out answers. |
