In Algebra class we came up with a business idea in groups. When we presented the project we presented it to staff members and to other students. They gave us a score on attire, the presentation its self, and creativity. In our groups we had to think of prices for the products our business was selling and we had to write a business letter. The group who got the highest score in total received extra credit. The business idea my group came up with was a tutoring business for the school. A 21st-century skill I practiced in this project is Thinking and Problem Solving skills because we had to redo the equation since our original equation was coming out with a negative number and the answer had to be positive. We had to try different numbers until the answer came out has a positive. The most difficult part of this project was that one of the group members was absent for a few days so my other group member and I had to work around having a missing group member. This project relates to what I learned in the past because we had come up with an equation then solve it and graph it.
